Farmer Al’s granddaughter was diagnosed with a peanut allergy and carries an EpiPen wherever she goes in case an allergic reaction would occur. She also reacts to eggs, dairy, and gluten. Something as simple as an afternoon snack at a ballgame or a meal at a restaurant can quickly become a serious concern.

Our family began searching for a safe, allergen-friendly cooking oil. However, the grocery store shelves were full of oils produced in multi-product facilities, where cross-contamination with allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, or soy is a concern. Even when labels did not clearly state this information, further research revealed shared production environments and limited traceability.

Farmer Al decided to take a different approach. We produce and package Simply Sunflower Oil in our own independent, allergen-friendly facility in North Loup, Nebraska, just seven miles from our family farm.

We have a safe cooking oil option that has no cross-contamination with other allergens in the production process! We are proud to offer that same confidence and peace of mind to you.
